Coo-Var have continued to climb to new heights in 2016 with distributors and customers across the UK, and the world. Their previous successes developing the Suregrip product for Hulls Rockcity (Rockcitys Pro Wall system a base and wall shield two-pack), as well as their anti-graffiti coating protecting a piece from renowned artist Banksy, have seen Coo-Var make the news - but a lot more has been happening behind-the-scenes.

2016 saw Coo-Var expand their Hull factory, to increase production and stock levels, as well as delivering higher turnaround speeds for customer and client dispatch. It has been money well spent, as after finding its feet, the brand has expanded into the greater consciousness of the general public, with distributors, including Rawlins Paints in Leeds, seeing good growth in the brands sales. The new manufacturing plant, labs and equipment have allowed Coo-Var to match their customers demands.

When our customers come to us with a large project, the timescale is nearly always urgent. They need us to determine what products will be best for the task at hand and supply what is required in time for their window of opportunity to carry out the works. With Teal & Mackrills successful expansion this year it has been great to be able to have stock on hand and any manufacture required significantly accelerated to ensure our customers needs have been met. The long-term strategy of developing its core strengths, and investing in both its products and teams technical expertise, along with a growing customer-base, is well underway.

The year started well for the specialist and marine paint manufacturer, with a visit from local and national distributors to see the impressive unveiling of Coo-Vars factory development energies. This inspired their UK distributors, seeing that Teamac and Coo-Var were going to be the brand on the industrys lips for 2016. With how successful their increased turnaround speed has been this year, 2017 looks set to be far busier for the Teal & Mackrills owned brands, Coo-Var and Teamac.

Teal & Mackrills new factory extension has seen a greatly increased manufacturing load, from approximately 25k to 35k litres, per week, to meet increasing demands. Distributors and suppliers can now dispatch larger quantities of floor and roof paints, faster than ever before for the brand.

Exciting new products that are in the pipeline for 2017, include expansions upon existing floor paint systems, now with special enhanced properties that will promote energy savings in buildings. For more commercial, rather than industrial scale projects, a new range of magnetic, whiteboard and chalkboard paint will be entering the market.

All news will be updated here through 2016/2017, including Christmas closing hours and new products launches.
