FAQs

Can Acrylic Line Marking Paint be applied to any surface?

Acrylic Line Marking Paint can be applied to various surfaces, including concrete, wood, tarmac, asphalt, and metal. However, the surface must be properly prepared, clean, and free of contaminants such as oil, grease, and dust to ensure the best adhesion and finish.

Can I apply Acrylic Floor Paint over a previous floor paint?

If the previous floor paint is sound and well adhered to original substrate, yes, however we always recommend a test area first.

Do I need a primer?

No primer necessary

How should I prepare the surface before applying the paint?

Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry before application, coo-var degreaser or oil remover can be used to clean the floor.

Moisture content of the surface should be less than 14% prior to painting.

For other surfaces, appropriate cleaning and sanding may be required to create a suitable profile for the paint to adhere to.

For previously painted surfaces, make sure to clean, abrade and remove all loose and flaking material.
